This perfect story will make you laugh, cry and question the true purpose of life. I give this movie 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it for ages 12 to 18, but adults will like it too, if they really love dog movies. You can find A Dog's Journey in theaters everywhere starting May 17, 2019. This movie has fewer adult themes than the book it's based on.

Not ashamed to admit I cried in this movie. I would br reading it and I would laugh out loud and he would ant to know about it. Then the tears would flow and he would ask questions as to why I was crying. It was the cutest book, every dog lover should read it. It has an I Can Only Imagine vibe when the father apologizes to his son and tries to become a better parent. Storywise, this movie is a lot better than the first movie and involves more plot. And is also more emotional than the first movie. I really don't know why critics don't like to watch this movie series. The first one was outstanding and I thought the second was pretty solid. There is vast amount of dogs on set and they nailed the training.

Occasionally, after occurring, these are never touched upon again, which is not only a wasted opportunity, but illustrates that they were simply used for shock value. I liked the first film but that was about it but this time round I got completely lost in it. Yes it was heartwarming soppy mush cliched at times but I loved absolutely every minute of it and was left wanting more. While this book might not be for everyone, it's a must read for animal lovers. Lots of emotional ups and downs, but in the end it left me feeling good and contented.

Most dogs seem tireless, compared to humans. And it's true that no matter what they're bred for, dogs generally have... While many people view dogfighting as inhumane, barbaric and despicable, there are those who support this horrendous act.
I just didn't like where they focused on the humans more than dogs though. The first film, "A Dog's Purpose," was so emotionally draining for dog lovers like me that I admit hesitating to see this sequel. My best friend leaned toward seeing it when we were looking for a movie to see this weekend, though, so I agreed.
